(in)VITRO terrariums are made of plants, moss, substrate, glass, and natural elements. Because they are living and handmade, they may show small differences in colour, shape, growth, and composition compared to the images presented in the store.

Living product

Each terrarium continues to evolve after arriving at your space. Plants can grow, adapt and slightly transform the composition over time.

Natural piece

Moss, leaves, roots, stones, and substrate have their own variations. No natural piece is absolutely identical to another.

Follow-up

If any questions arise after delivery, the (in)VITRO team is available to help interpret terrarium signs and guide initial care.

What may vary

Images are a reference, not an exact copy.

Photographs represent the format, scale, visual language, and overall composition of each product. However, as it is a natural piece, there may be differences between the image and the terrarium received.

These differences are not defects: they are part of the living, organic, and artisanal nature of each composition.

What is normal in a living terrarium

Colour differences

The tones of plants, moss, stones, and substrate may vary according to the maturity, humidity, light, and natural origin of the elements.

Slightly different composition

The arrangement of plants, moss, and decorative elements may not be exactly the same as the photograph, always maintaining the visual identity of the model.

Growth and maturity

Plants may be at a different growth stage. Some pieces may appear younger, others denser or more developed.

Condensation on the glass

Some condensation is normal and is part of the closed terrarium's humidity cycle. The level may vary throughout the day and according to the room temperature.

Small dry leaves

As with any living plant, some leaves may age naturally. When possible, they can be carefully removed.

Adaptation to the new space

After delivery, the terrarium may need a few days to stabilize in the new environment, especially if there are changes in light, temperature, or humidity.

Essential care

What can compromise balance

Direct sunlight

Direct sunlight can overheat the glass and harm the plants. The terrarium should be in indirect natural light.

Heat and air conditioning

Heat sources, intense cold, or constant drafts can create instability in the internal microclimate.

Frequent openings

Opening the terrarium unnecessarily can alter the humidity level and delay the natural stabilization of the piece.

Excessive watering

Excess water can compromise the terrarium's balance. Any intervention should be occasional and careful.

Post-delivery support

If something seems out of the ordinary, talk to us.

If you receive a damaged terrarium, or if you notice something that doesn't seem to correspond to the natural functioning of the piece, please contact us as soon as possible.

Whenever necessary, send photographs of the terrarium, indicating its location and a brief description of the situation. This helps us understand if it is a normal adaptation or if it requires follow-up.
